RYA\Honda Youth Rib Contest
While not strictly speeking dinghy sailing every year we invite the cadets to take part in the RYA Honda Youth Rib Contest . It is a national competition with finals during the Southapton Boat Show - the top prize - a Rib for the club! Local heats are run all across the country, in cluding here at largs, followed by regional heats and then the national competition at the Southampton Boat Show. In 2007 LSTA's own Gordon Bamford won the competition in the 13-16 age group wining a 4.8m RIB.
