Largs Sail Training Association

Due to the level of interest in the cadet section, we unfortunately have to operate a waiting list for new cadets. It is generally first come first served! However please note - spaces are generally available in more advanced groups - it is the beginners section where there is the longest wait. If you already have some experience let us know (also let us know if you do courses etc whilst on the waiting list - it may be we can get you in after your course).

We also prioritise where parents are willing to volunteer in areas where we need help, such as additional instructors. To put your name on the list, please fill out the form below.

Please note: to be a cadet you must be a member of Largs SC, either as a cadet or part of a family membership (a cadet membership costs £65 a year). You can join after you are given a place.

The cadet scheme itself costs £65, which is paid in two blocks of £32.50 at the beginning and middle of the season. There are discounts for families with more than one cadet.

Please let us know any other information that would be relevent; such as any health problems that we should be aware of (we do our best to get anyone with any helth problem on the water but certain types of boats might be better suited than others). Also relevent is wither a parent/gardian is willing to help out and if they have any RYA instructors qualificaitons - or are willing to be trainined!
