Largs Sail Training Association

The format of this year's regatta has changed slightly - hopefully you will all think it is an improvement!

 We will be running a "Passage Race" on the Saturday (registration at 10:00):

• Racing will be to and from White Bay at the north end of Cumbrae (unless it is really windy!)
• How long you take will be timed, with prizes for the fastest.
• We will stop for lunch at White Bay (please bring a packed lunch with you!)
• We will have some fun and games on the beach
• Parents with dinghies/keelboats are invited to join us!
• Ater sailing there will be a BBQ (included in the entry fee), parents/friends/relatives can buy tickets for the BBQ

And on Sunday we will be running "proper" races (registation at 9:30):

• The races will be round a windward/leeward "sausage" course for the beginner and advanced groups
• The intermediate group will have their own race area (just off the slipway) and a nice simple course
• points are calulated on how quickly you can go round the course, and how many others you can beat on the way!
• We will come ashore after the second race for lunch (included in the entry fee)
